2Baba x Yemi Alade – Taste the Feeling

No doubt, Innocent Idibia, best known as TuBaba, is one of Africa’s most popular music artiste, while Yemi Alade is the female music diva making Nigeria proud. So, imagine our excitement when we discovered each singer’s version of Coca-Cola’s ‘Taste the Feeling’ anthem, released on Thursday, 12th May, 2016.
Trust me, you’ve heard the original on radio, produced by Avicii and performed by Conrad Sewell, but our Nigerian singers infused new life into the anthem.
Following the afro pop feel by Simi and Adekunle Gold, a week ago, the new covers by TuBaba and Yemi Alade are equally proudly Nigerian stuff. No surprise that we’ve left them on replay.
Spoiler alert, word is TuBaba and Yemi Alade also performed the one and only duet for the Anthem in Nigeria. For real, that would make it the first song these two make together. It’s been a long time coming but will be worth the wait.
